Coming from a background of archaeology, I take as much practical and artistic inspiration as I may from historical sources. There are few greater joys than holding an artefact and working out how it was made, then transferring that knowledge to the production of the new. This is useful in both the reproduction of historical ironwork and in the creation of religious artefacts for the present day. I've had the good fortune to be able to produce a wide variety of religious items for the pagan and heathen communities, from seidr staves and rune sets, to altars and athames.
